Texas Hill Country after a Spring Storm
Texas Hill Country
I drove almost 2 hours to reach this location. On both sides of this dirt road in the rolling hills of central Texas, I found meadows of bluebonnets that stretched to the horizon. A storm had just blown through and now the air was calm and silent. The smell of these wildflowers permeated the air and actually lingered on my clothing all the way home.
