Sunset from Fortress Cliff 1

Fortress Cliff - Palo Duro Canyon

From high up on Fortress Cliff, this is an October sunset. Prickly Pear cling to the edge of the rocky cliff.. The Ogalla Formation forms these crumbly cliffs and dates back to the late Miocene to early Pliocene and is made up of sandstone, siltstone, sandstone other materials. All that said, it provided my friend and I a nice place to take in the evening and photograph Palo Duro Canyon. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
