South Rim Afternoon 1
Big Bend National Park
From the edge of the South Rim at Big Bend National Park, the borders of Texas and Mexico come into view. In the distance, across the remnants of the Chisos Mountains, the Rio Grande River can be seen, serving as a boundary between the Lone Star State and its southern neighbor. The view from this cliff high in the park is spectacular, and the hike to reach this point is at least a 12 mile round trip - but worth the effort. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
