San Antonio Riverwalk Afternoon 1
San Antonio Riverwalk
On a spring afternoon, the San Antonio Riverwalk is alive and vibrant with locals and tourists enjoying the 2.5 miles of sidewalks that line the San Antonio River. With shops and restaurants, this is a great place to spend an afternoon. The colored umbrellas on the left side of this image show Casa Rio, a place to find Tex-Mex, which opened in 1946 and was the first establishment along the river. On the distance, the abstract art piece, the Torch of Friendship, given by Mexico to the city of San Antonio, rises above street level for all to see. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
