Saint Mary's Cathedral 1 - Fredericksburg
Constructed in 1906, St. Mary’s Catholic Church is one of the Painted Churches of central Texas. Seen here from the balcony, this church is part of the National Register for Historic Places.
German immigrants first started meeting in 1848 in a log house. Since then, the church has gone through many iterations to become one of the icons of the Hill Country it is today. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
