Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church 3 - Ammannsville
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ammansville is known as the “Pink Church” because of its rosy and ornate interior. After its initial construction, the church was destroyed by a hurricane in 1909, then ruined by fire eight years later. The current church was finished in 1919. While not as ornate as the second church, the interior uses simple pastel colors and an open feel to welcome visitors. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
