Red Star in the Late Afternoon 928-
Palo Duro Canyon
While I wouldn't advise anyone to make the sketchy climb up to Red Star Hoodoo, the views are incredible. The red rock can be loose and unstable in some sections, but still do-able - much easier than the Devil's Tombstone, especially with a backpack of camera equipment and a heavy tripod. This is Red Star on a hot, late afternoon in September. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
