Port Isabel Lighthouse at Night 1
Constructed in 1852, the Port Isabel lighthouse rises 57 feet in the air. It once served as a beacon to guide ships through the Brazos Santiago Pass to Port Isabel; now it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a tourist location in the Texas coastal town located between Brownsville and South Padre Island. In this late evening image, the crescent moon is slowly setting in the western sky. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
