Orion over Pedernales Falls 1
Very early on a summer moring in August, the warm glow of first light begins to permeate the horizon. Overhead, the starts still shine, highlighted by the well known Orion constellation. I love my time in the early morning out here. I could hear the call of coyotes as I shot these long exposures of the night sky, and the natural world was alive all around me - frogs, criickets, coyotes, birds, and even some goats on the other side of the river.
