Lupine near Seydisfjördur at Midnight 3

Seydisfjördur, Iceland

Under the pastel skies of Iceland’s midnight evenings, lupine (nootka) rest motionless in the cold air. Not far from the picturesque village of Seydisfjördur along the slopes of a fjord surrounded by tall, glacial-carved mountains, these wildflowers bloom between mid-June and mid-July, making for a beautiful sight.
