Lightening at Pedernales Falls 1
I was shooting this scene of a small waterfall at Pedernales Falls State Park with the intent of converting the image to black and white because of the strong and brooding clouds. When lightening struck nearly directly in front of me, I don't mind saying it made me a little jumpy. I was using a tripod at the time, and both the legs of the tripod and my own feet were in the water. Needless to say, we all made a quick exit from the river. Fortunately, the storm never made it to my location, and the clouds in the eastern sky were beautiful on this June sunrise. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
