From the Salt Basin Dunes in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, this black and white image shows off one of the most remote areas of west Texas. These dunes rest in the southwest corner of the park and require a significant drive and short hike to reach, but the views are incredible. During one of my visits, I was fortunate enough to witness a lenticular cloud as it formed over the mountains, seen here as I shot from the bottom of a dune looking up at a nearly 45 degree angle.
