Kirkjufell Mountain from the Black Sands 1
From a black sand beach of lava, Kirkjufell Mountain is seen in the distance on this summer night. The daylight never ends, but the magic hour lingers for a long time in this portion of west Iceland while most folks are sleeping. And in pools like this at low tide, the reflections of the painted skies are pretty special. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
