Jacob's Well in Autumn 2

Jacob's Well Natural Area

Jacob' Well is the second largest underwater cave in Texas and a great place to cool off in the summer. The water comes from the Trinity Aquifer and releases thousands of gallons of clean spring water each day to the headwaters of Cypress Creek, eventually flowing into the Blanco River in Wimberley. This image comes from a cool November day when the crowds are gone and the leaves are changing. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
