Fog on Emory Peak
Big Bend National Park
Near the top of Emory Peak at Big Bend National Park, I had hoped for a spectacular view - the payoff for a nice walk up the tallest point in the park. Instead, just before the scramble to the summit, I encountered dense fog. While I still made the summit, the view in front of me stretched about 25 feet. I did take this image of the rocks and nearby layers that stretched into the thick gray clouds. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
