Enchanted Rock State Natural Area
On a beautiful sunset in the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, prickly pear were blooming atop a rocky outcrop as the sun faded into the distant clouds. The orange colors of the bloom added a splash of radiance to the rugged granite outcrop. And navigating this prickly pear field left me with thorns aplenty on my backside.
